Improving without measurement is like sailing without a compass.
We can move forward, multiply our experiences, make sincere efforts, without ever knowing precisely in what direction we are progressing or at what speed. This has always been the problem with communication and, more broadly, with soft skills.
Progress in this area remains difficult for two structural reasons.
When feedback is no longer enough
The first limitation is the feedback itself.
People close to you, colleagues or managers give feedback that is often well-intentioned, but rarely reliable. Too subjective, too polite, too emotional. They express what they feel, not what is objectively observable.
But to feel is not to measure.
And without measurement, it becomes impossible to know what is really working, what is progressing and what needs to be adjusted.

Lack of measurement, the real blind spot
The second limitation is even more profound: nothing is really measured.
Without clear indicators, communication remains volatile. An impression today, a feeling tomorrow. What is not measured has no usable value. And what can't be measured can't be systematically improved.
It is precisely this pain that is at the root of TALK.
Measuring communication, not opinion
With TALK, we are developing a method and technology capable of objectively measuring communication.
Not opinion on communication.
Not the overall feeling.
Communication itself, as it manifests itself.
That's where the break lies.
Once a measure exists, everything changes.
I know where I stand.
I know where I'm starting from.
I know how far I can progress.
Progress ceases to be abstract. It becomes legible, structured and conscious. You move from one score to another, from one level to another, with a clear understanding of the path you've taken.
A complete communication analysis
The TALK application analyses and develops the three fundamental pillars of communication:
- the verbal, what is said, the clarity and structure of the message,
- paraverbal, voice, rhythm, intonation,
- non-verbal, posture, micro-signals, gestures.
These dimensions are not worked on separately, but in an integrated way. This is how we develop vocal presence, emotional intelligence and non-verbal expression in a way that is measurable and comparable over time.
Turning soft skills into hard skills
What we're doing can be put simply, but its effects are radical: we're transforming soft skills into hard skills.
For decades, soft skills have been looked upon with condescension. Too vague. Too intangible. Too human to be taken seriously. Hard skills, on the other hand, were valued because they could be measured, validated and compared.
Today, the hierarchy is reversed.
Everyone knows that what makes a lasting difference in an organisation are soft skills, communication, leadership, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. The paradox is that they remain impossible to objectify.
Until now.
Data as a lever for human progress
TALK is changing the game by providing data where none existed before.
Rigour where there was only intuition.
Measurable progress where there were only intentions.
Without measurement, there can be no improvement.
With reliable measurement, improvement is almost inevitable.
This conviction guides everything we build: without technology, there are no KPIs, and without KPIs, there is no progress.
Technology is not an end in itself. It becomes a lever for human progress.
